The Last Three Month's Happenings

Sorry all! I’ve been ignoring my blog as of late and have heard many complaints. So am repenting and am blogging.

Since my marathon in October, life has been less active in the running aspect (I took a month off from running due to deserving rest after those 26.2 miles). The rest of October was a month for attending concerts. I saw The Format twice, Dashboard Confessional, Muse, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Colbie Callet and a few more. It was quite fun.

The end of October I enjoyed several Halloween Parties with friends. One of which ended with a crazy trip to the Salt Lake Cemetery where my friend recorded her own EVP on her cell phone. It was creepy but SO cool.

The first weekend in November I went on a last minute camping trip with 4 of my brothers. It was so much fun. We drove out to a spot near Strawberry Reservoir and hiked 20 minutes into the woods. We ate dinner and chatted by the camp fire. We then slept in quite the cold temperature (my feet were freezing all night)! We hiked out the next day. It was a quick trip, but it was so fun to spend the priceless time with the brothers.

On Thanksgiving I played football at the Turkey Bowl with the brothers and was the only girl playing. I even scored a couple of touchdowns. Oh how I love the brothers and the boys. They are so fun.

Am currently the newest Performance Development Specialist (AKA Trainer) at a check printing company now called Harland Clarke. It’s the position I’ve had my eye one since I began working there and I was promoted to back in August. I love it.
At the end of November I began my first New Specialist training class. It has required a lot of patience and lots of studying of notes to teach the 8 woman newbies as they start their career there. I absolutely love training though.

Also during the summer I took a full load of school at the Salt Lake Community College and FINALLY graduated with my Associate of Science Degree in Generals. Its quite the relief…though the next two years seem pretty daunting. I took the fall off and am tackling it yet again come the spring semester.

Last week I got food poisoning (well, am PRETTY sure it was). It was NOT pleasant. When I was not vomiting, I laid in bed and wanted to die. So just a word of caution….make sure you only eat thoroughly cooked chicken. 

And as am sure all of you are dying to know…..am I dating anyone?
Well, am dating several men, as I like to keep my options open. Though I do have one male caller in particular, that I’ve been seeing since October. He seems to fancy me and is keen on occupying most of my time. He treats me rather well and I admit I am a big fan of his.

Am excited for Christmas next week, and being with my family. I love this time of year. It’s the greatest!
Hope your Christmas is great!
